It features an all-star cast of scientists from around the world focused on utilizing CRISPR to generate gene and cell therapies, accelerate discovery biology and drug discovery, and imagine new gene editing innovations.

Agenda

Session 1

Innovation

Thu 9:00 - 11:10 AM

Session 2

Implementation

Thu 11:25 - 1:05 PM

Session 3

Impact

Thu 1:25 - 4:05 PM

In the 10 years since CRISPR was developed, scientists have massively expanded and improved the genome engineering toolbox. There are now a wide range of technologies derived from the original CRISPR-Cas9 system that can be used for different applications, new nucleases that have been discovered and engineered, and a variety of methods to improve CRISPR editing efficiencies.

In this session, we’ve lined up some of the key pioneers of CRISPR technology to present their latest innovations and improvements, including next-generation gene editing techniques such as base editing, recombinases, and PASTE, increasing homology directed repair to improve editing outcomes, overcoming the challenges of CRISPR editing in primary cells, and new delivery strategies.
